When I was first asked if I would like to blog for Pro-Equine, I immediately said Yes as I use so many of their products, and then realised I had no idea how to blog! Hopefully, with your help, we can make this a success. My plan is to make this both informative and interactive, so I would like to hear from you about what you want to read about. Are you interested in specific products, how we develop them, how we choose the ingredients for their healing properties? Let me know and I’ll be happy to help!
To kick things off I will be speaking to each of Pro-Equine’s sponsored riders to find out what their favourite product is and why. I will also speak to the brains behind Pro-Equine to give you an insight into how the company started and what drives them to continue to deliver quality, 100% natural products for your four-legged friends, be they equine or canine. Did you know that the majority of the products can also be used on yourself?! Personally, I have used the arnica, tea tree and Itch-eze gels. But more on that at a later date!
So, what is my favourite product I hear you ask (OK, for the sake of my first blog let’s pretend you did!). Well, that’s a tough one. The shelves in my barn could be mistaken for a Pro-Equine advertisement! Over the years, between my four horses, I have probably used around 80% of the products they offer, so to choose just one is difficult. Neem oil is useful for so many things and the Wonder Gel is exactly that, a wonder gel!! Thomas, one of my Welsh cobs, would probably choose Coolwash. My recommendation of the product is already on the website! “I have a black Welsh cob who is always hot and sweaty after lessons or competing. Coolwash is brilliant as I just add a splash to water, wash him down, scrape it off and that’s it! No need to rinse. Thomas loves it as it gets rid of the sweat and the peppermint cools him down quickly too and leaves a nice smell!” I order this in bulk!
But enough about me, I want to hear from you. What’s your favourite product and why? What can’t you live without? What has made a difference to your horse’s or dog’s well-being?
Oh, and before I forget, we are already on the count-down to Blair International Horse Trials. This is one of Pro-Equine’s favourite events and we will be there in our usual spot by the Banvie Arena. We love meeting our customers and making new friends. We also love hearing about how our products have helped and are happy to discuss specific issues and make recommendations. So come along and say hi, and grab yourself a bargain at the same time!
