We braved our first outing of the year with the Pro‑Equine trade stand at Kirriemuir Horse Trials on 12th April, where the event was also celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Despite relentless wet and windy weather throwing our stand into all sorts of shapes, we hunkered down and enjoyed a brilliant view of the show jumping from our perfect spot beside the arena.

It has been a couple of years since our last stand appearance at Blair Atholl Horse Trials in 2024, so it was fantastic to meet everyone again — both returning and new customers. Supporting Kirriemuir Horse Trials event and cheering on our riders made the day even more special.

Rider Results

• Sara Bryans & Half a Chuckle — BE90 Section C

Our brand ambassador Sara kicked things off in style. Riding her gelding Half a Chuckle, she delivered a personal‑best dressage score of 25.8, followed by a lovely show jumping round with just one unlucky pole. They then stormed home clear across country to win their section.

• Eilidh Costelloe & THL After Eight — BE90 Open

In the BE90 Open, brand ambassador Eilidh piloted her talented five‑year‑old mare THL After Eight through the wet, muddy conditions with maturity beyond her years. Their performance earned them the win on the mare’s eventing debut — a hugely exciting start to her career.

• Daniel Scott — BE90 Open & BE100 Open

Pro‑Equine and Torbeag Equestrian sponsored rider Daniel Scott also impressed, taking 6th place in the BE90 Open with Hanleen Lady Lou. He then followed up with a strong 4th place in the BE100 Open riding Easy X.

• Iona Campbell — Multiple Rides

Iona had a busy day with three horses:

16th in BE90 Section A with Offen Bach

14th in BE90 Section C with Altries Ambition

9th in Novice Section H with HVS High Limit
